- Adding a book to the shopping cart
You can add a book to your shopping cart from the main product information page. Below each book information page there is a button which looks like this:
Pressing this button will take you through to your shopping cart to show that the item has been entered there. Items that are in your shopping cart are not on order yet. You can always change quantities or remove items that you are no longer interested in.
IMPORTANT: Before pressing the “Add to cart” button, please select your delivery destination so that the correct delivery charges can be added. If you select to have the book gift-wrapped, then the cost of wrapping will also be added to your bill.

- How the shopping cart works (Check Out)
The shopping cart contains the books you have placed into it while shopping, their quantities and the cost you will be billed for them. If you are satisfied with the contents of your shopping cart and want to proceed with your order, press the "Checkout" button and you will be taken through to the next stage. Please note - you will be asked to login if you are an existing customer or to register if you are a new customer.
If you are not happy with the contents of your shopping cart, you can change or remove items before checking out. See the information below.

- Changing quantities or removing books
If you wish to increase or decrease quantities simply change the quantity in the box and click the “Update” button on the page. When you add a book to your shopping cart, the quantity for that line is automatically set to 1. If you want to order more than one copy, simply change the quantity as above.
If you want to remove an item completely, check the relevant box against that product (in the column marked “Remove”) and then click on the “Update” button. When the basket reloads, you will see that the item has been removed.

- Logging in or registering
After you have pressed the "Check Out" button and are ready to send us your order, you will be asked to login if you are an existing user or to register if you are a new user to our site. Returning Customer Sign In - Please fill in the e-mail address that you used when you registered on the site and your password and click on the “Sign In” button.
New Customer - If you are a first-time customer you will have click on the “Create Account” link. Please note - Fields on the “Create Account” page that are marked with a red asterisk ( * like this) are required fields and cannot be left blank. Fill in all the required information on this page, including the anti-spam verification code and click “Continue” If you have entered all the information correctly, you will get a “Your Account Has Been Created!” message and you can now log in to your account. Click the “Continue” button to move to the next stage in the checkout process.
Under no circumstances will we use your e-mail address to send you unsolicited advertisements or spam. We will also not sell or distribute your e-mail address to any other person or company. See our privacy policy for more information.

- Your password
Every time you order, you will be asked to enter your password. If this is your first purchase with us, you will have to create a new password. The password you choose must be at least 5 characters in length. If you have forgotten your password, click the link called "Forgot your password?" link on the Sign In page and we will send it to you via e-mail.

- Shipping/Delivery Information
By default the addressee destination is set to deliver the book to you, but if you choose to send the book to anyone other than yourself (e.g. if the book is a gift) you'll need to click on “Change Address” from the “Delivery Information” page and then enter the necessary addressee details in the fields provided in the “New Shipping Address” form.
You can also add comments about your order in the text box provided in the “Delivery Information” page. An example can be: “Please call me before delivery as I am rarely in the office”. If the book is a gift, please remember to include the recipient’s telephone number in the text box provided as we will need this to contact the recipient at the time of delivery.
Please note that orders can only be shipped to a physical address and not to a P.O Box number. Deliveries will take place during office hours only. Please ensure that someone will be present to receive your parcel at the address given.
Once you have completed this press the 'Continue' button to move to the payment information page.
During the check out process, you will be able at all times to see a useful breadcrumb trail (as below) that lets you know what stage you are in the ordering process and what stage is next.

- Payment Information
On the “Payment Information” page you will find a listing of the payment methods that we accept. These are:
- Payment via MPESA
- Cash On delivery
- Bank Transfer/Deposit
- Cheque/Bankers Order
Please select the method you wish to use by clicking on one of the radio buttons and then click “Continue” to proceed to the Order Confirmation page. To read more about the payment options available to you, please click here

- Order Confirmation
On this page you will be able to review the products ordered, your delivery address and also your billing information to ensure that it is correct. You will also be able to view your order total including shipping and gift-wrapping costs (if applicable) and the payment method that will be applied to your order.
Please remember, if you wish to change any of the order details please click on the “Edit” links located next to the detail you wish to change before clicking on the 'Confirm Order' button. If you are satisfied with the results as shown, click the "Confirm Order" button. You have now ordered your books, and a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you. On the next screen, you will see a confirmation message “Your Order Has Been Processed!”
On the confirmation page you can click on ‘Print Order” to print your order. Your Order # can be viewed on this printed order and also in the email you will receive. You can track the status of your order at any time by clicking on the “View My Order History” link. Your order will be updated as follows:
- Status: Checking book availability
- Status: Awaiting payment (if paying via cheques or bank deposit)
- Status: Processing
- Status: Delivered

- Creating a wish list
On each book detail page is an “Add to Wish List” button, so if you are not ready to purchase the book or wish to purchase it at a later stage, simply click on this button, the book will be added to your wish list. You can also add products to your Wish List and send them to another person who will be able to view (and also purchase) the books that you have indicated in your Wish List (for example as a gift for you).
